What is NurseryCam? |

NurseryCam is an Internet Viewing System for
childcare centres. When
installed in childcare centre, parents can see live video images of
their children securely via the Internet anytime, anywhere. NurseryCam promotes parental involvement in the development and

How do I signup for my nursery's NurseryCam Internet
viewing service? |
A. |
Firstly, you need to obtain a unique childcare
centre ID from your centre's director. You can then go to NurseryCam's registration page to register.
Then the request is forwarded to your centre’s director.
He/she would approve or disapprove your application.
Once it has been approved, you can use it straight away. |

How do I login? |
A. |
Go to
http://www.NurseryCam.co.uk with your web browser. Input
your "username" and "password" in the form at the right side of
the page. Click
"Login", and you will be taken to the members' secure area.

What do I do if I forget my username or password? |
A. |
Click on the 'Forgot your password link on the
Login Box'. You will be
asked a few security questions for authentication purposes. NurseryCam
will then reset your password and send you a temporary password to your
email address which you have used to register your account. When you
next log in using the temporary password, the system will immediately
ask you to choose a new password. |

Can I share my password with family members? |
A. |
No. However, NurseryCam members are entitled to
receive up to 6 password accounts for relatives and family members.

How do I request additional password accounts for family members? |
A. |
Login to the members' area and click "add
family accounts". |

I
experience problems using NurseryCam Internet viewing systems, who
should I contact? |
A. |
If you're a parent, please contact your childcare
centre first who may then relay your concern to us. We, at NurseryCam,
will not give out any information regarding our registered centres.
Alternatively, you may email
support@nurserycam.co.uk and we will answer all your questions as long as it is not a request for
sensitive information. Childcare centre directors may always call our
centre helpline. |

What is the minimum PC
requirement to watch the live video? |
A. |
Parents should be able to login from any PC with
Internet connection; whether you are at work or in an Internet café
overseas. No special
software is required; as long as it has an Internet connection and one
of the latest browsers (Internet Explorer or Netscape) you are ready to
go! Please read "How do I upgrade the
version of my web browser?" if necessary. |

Can I record the video? |

No, mainly because of security reasons. |

Why does transmission stop after five minutes? |
A. |
This is one of the security measures which prevent
anyone else from viewing your child via your account if your computer is
left unattended for an extended period of time. |
